Our Providers

My therapeutic approach uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Psychoeducation. I have experience and extensive training in helping women struggling with infertility, medically complicated pregnancies, postpartum mood and physical complications as well as parenting challenges. I offer a supportive and empathetic perspective so the individuals I work with feel safe to share and heal in a non-judgmental environment.

In maternal mental health, it takes a highly skilled clinician to decipher the differences in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD) and fully address the root cause of the emotional distress. I believe when a parent is suffering, the whole family does also. I am committed to help families heal through addressing the mental health needs of women. You are not alone, you are not to blame and with help, you will be well.

Nurse Practitioner
Services Offered: Medication Management, Supportive Counseling

After earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology, I completed a nursing
degree at New York University and worked as a labor and delivery and
NICU nurse for more than a decade.  Subsequently, I obtained a
master’s degree at Quinnipiac University and became board certified
as a family nurse practitioner. While working as a nurse practitioner in
obstetrics and gynecology at Yale University for many years, I
recognized the enormous need for the inclusion of mental health care
in women’s health and completed a post-master’s certification as a
psychiatric nurse practitioner at Frontier Nursing University. My
approach is deeply influenced and enhanced by my diverse educational
background and by my comprehensive knowledge and experience in
women’s health and mental health. My clinical practice style is warm,
highly personalized, and solution focused.
I offer psychotropic (medication) management and counseling as well
as alternatives to conventional medications as needed. I will work with
your existing therapist for medication support. I look forward to
meeting you and learning about your life experiences.

Lynn has extensive experience counseling women who are experiencing crisis or unplanned pregnancies.

Lynn believes in a holistic approach that takes into consideration the whole person- physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. She considers counseling as a pathway for growth and healing. It is an opportunity for the client to explore his or her own thoughts and feelings in a safe environment.
